Your presentation is yours

Last updated July 18, 2026

Universal Presenter Remote (“UPR”) is built to do one thing: relay Next, Previous, and media commands from your remote to your presenting computer. We never see, receive, or store the contents of your presentation. There is no account to create.

What we relay

When you pair a remote, UPR passes short command signals between your remote and the control software through our relay. These signals only indicate which key to press — Next, Previous, or Play/Pause media. Command signals are held only long enough to deliver them and are not written to permanent storage.

What we don't collect

  • The contents, slides, notes, or media of your presentation
  • Names, email addresses, or accounts — UPR requires none
  • Your screen, camera, microphone, or files

Connection tokens

Pairing uses a temporary numeric token generated on your device. It identifies a session only for as long as that session is active, and expires when you end it. Tokens are not tied to your identity.

Diagnostics

We collect limited, aggregated technical diagnostics (such as error reports and performance timing) to keep the relay reliable. These are used solely to operate and improve the service and are not sold or shared for advertising.

App stores & platforms

The UPR remote and control apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. When you download or update them, those platforms apply their own privacy practices, which are outside our control.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
